I miss City of Heroes, and I miss it more that I ever thought I would.
I came to City of Heroes when it wasn't new game anymore. It had existed for 3 years already. I remember watching cd boxes in shop when the game was new and wishing that I had better computer and internet connection at home to play it. By the time I had that there weren't any boxes left in shops anymore. Well there weren't may computer game shops left anyway.
At least I had credit card for internet use so I decided to get CoH online. But first I had to test if I could play it... and I almost couldn't. First time I have logged into game I almost couldn't move and have to go from safe mode. Took me some time to fix that issues, find the right drivers, but once fixed I could even go to ultra mode (once it was in game).
And so I was in game. I could finally be a hero, finally live through character, be Cat Astrophy. Of all my heroes, Cat Astrophy was the only one that have existed long time prior to game. She was with me since childhood, she was my superhero in rank with all other famous Marvel/DC heroes, only no one knew about her. With CoH, I have managed to make her known, make her be part of the team, have life, have friends... and I haven't even RP.
